Marie-Jeanne Brouillette is an artist, intuitive tarot reader and sound bath practicionner from Québec, now living on Salt Spring Island, BC.

In her day to day life, you can find her in nature, journaling and writing about life or exploring new ways to connect to the wisdom of the body and emotions. She loves spending time with her loved ones, friends, cooking food and sharing authentically.

One of her joys is to help others align to their deeper truth and soul resonance in her work. She holds space in a ritual way, with sacred objects + tools to bring people on an inner journey of self-discovery. She deeply believes that holistic wellness is needed to care for our soul in a world of hightened productivity, and sometimes unconventional approaches are needed when the traditional western approach fails us. She’s aware her interests are woo woo for some, yet for herself it is a deep nourishment that goes beyond any spiritual belief.

In 2018, Marie-Jeanne started to widely share the medicine of tarot readings at every opportunity she could, reading for strangers, people at bars, friends and family - which has continued indefinitely and grown since then. She is a self-taught Tarot Reader, forged by both obsession for the craft and care. In 2019 she completed a private sound bath training with Sarah Surrenders in Montreal after having had deeply transformative experiences for herself with this modality.

She loves working with people from all paths of life that are facing moments of destabilizing life changes, navigating liminal spaces, indecision and overwhelm: providing reflection, guidance and sounds that help clear the emotional body and prepare you for the next step of your journey.

More about Marie-Jeanne Brouillette:

For 7 years starting in 2012, Marie-Jeanne dove into the studies of visual arts, media technologies and fine arts. She studied Visual Arts for 2 years at Uqam and then transferred to Concordia University where she received her BFA in Fine Arts Photography with Distinction after another 3 years of study. She explored many different mediums from photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, audio and video over this course of time, developing a truly multi-dimensional approach to what it is to be an artist and make art.

Simultaneously in 2016, Marie-Jeanne went through a healing crisis and awakening. Experiencing the debilitating effects of anxiety in her life, trauma, panic attacks and epilepsy, and not finding answers within the western medical system, she started to research alternative ways to heal. She stumbled upon spirituality and self-development on her way. She started to read tarot for herself – a practice she had been first introduced to by her aunt in her teenage years. Every day she would read the cards, research and self-study as she felt a burning curiosity towards the cards. They spoke the language she knew through art, colors, archetypes and symbolism which she had been familiarised with in her fine arts studies. The emotional awareness gained through the cards made her feel seen by the universe and guided to take better decisions.

In 2017 she found herself in her first group sound bath, looking for more tangible ways to heal her ailments. It is there that she experienced an immense release and energetic opening. In the next 2 years she lived in Montreal she went to every sound bath she could afford and a year later she studied with Sarah Surrenders the wonders of Sound Healing and hosting sound baths so she could share the magic with others.

Having explored many different mediums and modalities over the course of the years, Marie-Jeanne is multi-passionate. She is an artist, a creator at her core, sound bath practitioner, and tarot reader. She now lives in Salt Spring Island BC, where she gives in person Tarot Readings and continues to create, finding ways to blend creativity, healing and intuition as one.
