Hello there! This week on the blog, I am talking about 3 important skills to nurture as a Tarot Reader. These skills are especially important to discern when we are beginning to read tarot. There are many different ways to learn, from self-study, books and courses… and now you can even google your way through it! It can be easy to get distracted and not develop the right foundation. When we can simply research the card definition, without ever ourselves developing a relationship to the cards - it can be easy to rely on outside ressources to tell us what each card means. While there is nothing wrong with this type of research - it is always a good idea to begin our journey with the right foundations.
Today I’ll be exploring the topic of the incarnation of spirit within the material world, how spirit and matter interconnect, how they differ, and why we can’t prove the existence of spirit with the same rules we apply to the material world.
Spirit is multi-dimensional in nature, spontaneous and mutative pure life force energy. We could describe it as the consciousness behind all living things. Matter on the end represents the vessel that receives this spiritual energy. Through matter, spirit expresses itself in a defined way. Spirit itself, being multi-dimensional, can’t be defined by one form when not incarnated. Matter is everything you can touch and feel. It is defined by our linear time reality construct, it is either fixed or grows according to the linear time space reality.
Today we will explore the symbol of the door and how we can use it in visualization, meditation and dream incubation to bring about psychic and emotional changes in our lives. I share many personal experiences with this symbol, from spontaneous dreams to conscious ceremony that have rippled out into the mundance world to mark transitional chapters of my life.
